Terms of service

You must be at least 13. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

MacroCam uses AI to estimate the calories and macros in your meals and how much energy you burn. These are estimates and can be wrong — sometimes by a lot. MacroCam is not a medical device and does not give medical, nutritional or health advice. Don’t use it to diagnose or treat any condition. If you have a medical condition or specific dietary needs, talk to a qualified professional before relying on any number in the app.

MacroCam is free during the beta. We may introduce paid plans later; we’ll tell you before anything changes, and you’ll never be charged without agreeing first.

Keep access to your email and Google account secure — they are how you sign in. What you log belongs to you. You let us store and process it only to run MacroCam for you, as described in our privacy policy.

Each day locks at midnight in your time zone. That is how MacroCam works: locked days can’t be edited.

Please don’t:

• upload photos you don’t have the right to share, or anything illegal or abusive;
• try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or access other people’s data;
• use bots or automation to send requests.

We may suspend accounts that do these things.

We work to keep MacroCam running well, but it is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free or accurate. We may change, pause or end features, or the service, at any time; if we shut it down we’ll give you notice where we reasonably can.

To the extent the law allows, Sketchpad Solutions is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on estimates shown in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.

You can stop using MacroCam at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing karan@sketchpadsolutions.com.

If we change these terms we’ll update the date at the top and tell you about significant changes before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
